David Goodwin – Principal and Managing Director

Member Planning Institute of Australia, Associate of the Australia Property Institute, Diploma of Applied Science/Town Planning, RMIT.

David has over 30 years experience in town planning and project management. He has worked extensively both within Australia and overseas in England and South Africa. Throughout his career he has worked in State and Local Government, Corporations and Consulting firms. David specialises in giving submissions as a planning advocate to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) on behalf of applicants and objectors. He also acts as an expert witness in town planning matters, giving evidence to VCAT and making submissions on behalf of applicants and objectors to Amendment Panels.

Alan Swindon – Senior Town Planner

Bachelor of Arts (Urban Studies)

Alan has over 20 years of town planning experience, initially as a planner at the Victorian Ministry of Planning and the Victorian Ministry of Education. He was then employed as the Principal Town Planner to the Victorian Liquor Licensing Commission dealing with applications for licensed premises. At David Goodwin and Co. he specialises in handling all commercial applications (including Liquor Licensing matters), complex residential applications and restrictive covenant removals.

David Cao – Town Planning Assistant

Studying Bachelor of Urban Planning and Development (Honours), The University of Melbourne.

David Cao has a wide variety of industry based experience including a stint in the University of California, San Diego.
